You look great and happy! Was this the official celebration of your status in the firm? Either way, congratulations. It does the heart good to see such joy.

If you imagine BD without the beard, and with a toupee, he does look a bit like Denny Crane. πŸ˜‰

Nope. That is me at a Mardi Gras ball (or actually a pre-party). There is something else of interest in the picture.

I told +Bruce he looked dashing in his tux. ;->

Tie looks to be the appropriate shade, too.

Noooooooo, BD looks a lot better than William Shatner…in any century…

So, what? Did you two get married?!!

OK, anybody recognize the lapel pins? Distinctive, even if not enough pixels to blow up clearly!

    I guess I’m just dense…or blind…

Brad, the announcement of your “shareholder” status that has been running in The Town Talk is great! Again, congratulations.

Okay. The significance is +Bruce is in a very stylish and contemporary tuxedo compared to my old stayed black bow tie and vest combo – so, my bishop is officially cooler than I am. The pins are for the Twelfth Night Mardi Gras crew Mom and Carrie are in, which is what the pre-party was about. It was good to spend some fun time with the Bishop, with the only concern being “who is this strange woman in a Russian or Gypsy getup asking me to dance” rather than the woes of the Episcopal Church.
