This is DOA. A year ago it might have been a starting point, but given the secular legal actions already under way, I see not way traditional people can stay under the canons of ECUSA.

DOA, and particularly disappointing to see the usual HoB suspects involved.

This would be a total sellout of the orthodox deacons, priests and laity in those dioceses where the bishop wants to keep having his cake and eating it too. And, of course, the Presiding Bishopess would be for this plan. The loot keeps coming her way to pay for her agenda and the law suits against Anglican Christians.

On the table, with a fork in it.

Even the soberly reasonable Kendall Harmon calls it a case of too little, too late over at T19, and his is about the kindest of the comments there.

Really sad what has come to pass…this could have been a way forward some time back, but not now.

There’s simply no concession to anything Biblical on TEC’s part. The lawsuits continue. The heresies continue. Grossly incompetent and incoherent “leadership” continues. The more innovations continue. All that gets touched upon is diocesan boundary junk.

It does concern me that Bishop Howe persists in trying to fix things. We should pray for him.

There is also the argument that the Vichy government deluded itself into thinking it could coexist yet remain French. Didn’t work out very well.
