Greg Griffith’s Lesson for the Day

In my opinion, this sums up why those of us on classicalanglican.net and StandFirm blog and work together:

The lesson is the power of distributed intelligence made possible by the web. The committee that produced the bishops’ report didn’t want this report released to the world today, and they made sure to distribute it in a form (hard copy) that makes it harder for folks like us to re-distribute. No one person made all of this happen today; it was the work of a group, separated by a combined thousands of miles, all with their own kind of expertise, determined not to let this church be returned to an era of bishops scheming in secrecy, where lay people read and heard only what bishops decided to report – weeks or months later – in their diocesan newsletters.

Well done, my friends… I’ll see you all in New Orleans…
