Canon Law Only Applies To Conservatives

Interesting post from Dan Martins. I’m not surprised that the PB didn’t even bother to check Virginia’s consents, while South Carolina’s were reviewed with intense scrutiny.

It is even less of a surprise that the PB is not responding to San Joaquin’s inquiries.

Perhaps we could get the same group of retired bishops who requested an accounting of legal service fees to request an explanation here. It would probably be ignored as well, but at least it would get good circulation.

Ah, the infamous 815 “head I win, tails you lose” cannons.

From the comments in another blog:

There are many Reasserters who are on standing committees, are clergy or vestry members in important parishes, etc, who as a consequence have access to their bishop. I would hope they take advantage of this access to inform and encourage their bishop(s) to raise the issue at the next HoB meeting. This issue should be of vital concern to any bishops, including the many on the Reappraising side who are acting in good faith.

Any laymen around this blog who might match the above description of someone with access? 😉

Alan: My bishop reads my blog.
