Fourth Post-GC Meeting In Western Louisiana Makes Shreveport Times

I guess I am soundbiteable, but this hardly reflects the comments I made (which have been on the blog, as they are basically the same as what I said in Lake Charles):

Calling himself a “Windsor Bishop,” MacPherson feels the document establishes a way that the church can resolve its differences and move forward. He asked the local diocese to formally endorse the “Windsor Report.”

Delegate Bradley Drell echoed that call in his remarks and added a pointed statement to any frustrated Episcopalians.

“We have to remain part of Episcopal church,” he said. “I appeal to you to stand firm and not leave. Where are you going to go? Every church is having to face these questions and they are struggling mightily.”
