The Executive Council of ECUSA is Meeting Today; Bankruptcy Relief for Hurricane Victims

To actually say something positive, I think they are going to consider endorsing Fiengold’s bill to delay the implementation of the new bankrupty act, thanks to my work with the Episcopal Church’s governmental affairs office and Louie Crew in bringing this important issue to their attention. I think bankruptcy relief for Katrina victims will do more good in the long run that all the toiletries donated to evacuees.

Then, I’m sure they will be a little whizzed about the Province VII resolution. Oh well.

Please pray for them as they meet.

I’ll be off to a seminar on the new bankruptcy law tomorrow, so I may be delayed a bit in getting news up about what is going on tomorrow.
